About the Role
Requirements
Red Stag LLC is seeking skilled Class A CDL Drivers to safely and efficiently transport liquid dairy bulk products in tankers to processing plants for our dedicated customers within the regional area of NY/OH/ & VA for live unloading. This role requires strict adherence to all safety regulations, proper tanker handling techniques, and clear communication with dispatch to ensure timely and reliable deliveries. Drivers are also responsible for completing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate logs and documentation, and providing excellent customer service while representing Red Stag LLC.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently transport dairy bulk to processing plants for live unloading.
Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and comply with safety regulations.
Communicate with dispatch to plan routes and report any delays or issues.
Inspect and maintain trucks and equipment daily.
Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
Provide exceptional customer service to processing plants and stakeholders.
Adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations related to transportation and dairy production.
Ensure safe milk handling practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A with tanker endorsement
Minimum driving age of 23
Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
Transport experience required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in liquid tanker hauling
Must be willing to stay out overnight 3–4 nights per week
Obtain and maintain a milk handler certification
Must be in good physical condition with evidence of insurability provided (Medical Card)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiar with ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices) to maintain the required hours of service
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to drop and hook a trailer
Ability to climb ladders to check trailer seals
Strong navigation and problem-solving skills related to route management
Flexibility to work holidays and weekends
Must be able to bend, stoop, pull, climb, kneel, crouch, squat, lift 50 pounds, sit for an extended period, and reach overhead
