About the Role
Requirements
Red Stag LLC is seeking dedicated full-time Class A CDL Farm Route Pickup Drivers to join our team. This position is responsible for safely loading milk from local dairy farms and transporting it to designated drop yards throughout the local and regional area. Drivers play an important role in maintaining milk quality, meeting pickup schedules, and providing dependable service to our dairy partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently load milk from dairy farms into tanker trailers using proper equipment and procedures
Complete assigned farm pickups and deliveries safely and on schedule
Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding routes, load status, delays, or other issues
Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment concerns
Follow all food safety and milk-handling procedures to protect product quality and safety
Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate pickup and delivery records
Professionally represent Red Stag while interacting with dairy farmers, customers, and other partners
Follow all applicable federal and state transportation, safety, and dairy regulations
Properly drop and hook trailers as required
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement
Must be at least 23 years of age
Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
Minimum of 1 year of liquid tanker hauling experience
Must obtain and maintain required milk handler certification
Valid DOT Medical Card and ability to meet applicable driver qualification requirements
Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and maintaining Hours of Service records
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to safely drop and hook trailers
Ability to climb ladders as necessary to inspect trailer seals
Strong communication, navigation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
Must be able to regularly bend, stoop, pull, climb, kneel, crouch, squat, reach overhead, sit for extended periods, and lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds.
