National Night Dispatcher

Red Stag LLC is seeking a skilled full-time Night Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher serves as a primary point of communication between drivers, dairy farms, and customers while coordinating and tracking loads to support safe, efficient, and timely daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily milk pickups from various dairy farms

• Communicate with dairy farms, drivers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate pickup and delivery of milk

• Dispatch drivers and monitor load status throughout the day

• Monitor milk supply and demand and make necessary adjustments to schedules

• Maintain accurate records of loads, deliveries, and customer orders

• Monitor milk sample temperatures and ensure proper milk-handling practices are followed

• Quickly resolve scheduling, delivery, or operational issues as they arise

• Communicate schedule or load changes to drivers and other appropriate parties

• Assist with improving dispatch processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state transportation and dairy regulations

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum of 2 years of dispatch, transportation, or logistics experience preferred

• Must obtain and maintain required milk handler certification

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

• Ability to remain organized and make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proficiency with Google Workspace and transportation management systems; PCS experience preferred

• Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations preferred

• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with drivers, customers, and dairy partners

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and provide on-call or after-hours support as needed

  
  

Physical Requirements

Must be able to regularly bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, reach overhead, sit for extended periods, and lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.

Position Details

• Full-Time | Non-Exempt

• Pay: $18-20 per hour based on experience
